at 1hr19m Frank makes a really good point about the whole validation thing. I unsubbed a certain channel on youtube over exactly that - he’d film a 30-40min video of the trip to buy a truck, along the way telling us what he had planned for it … cue everybody giving him props and telling him how awesome his ideas are. the next time he’d mention the truck its either for sale or already sold without him ever following through on anything. views/likes and his ego being stroked in the comments seemed to be the priority over actual builds .. and dont forget to buy his merch…. guys n gals that film as they work are the only way to go .. ie. Brian puts a Tacoma vid out when things are being built.

Man, Ben is an interesting dude! He's definitely got the personality for making content. On the note of trends coming back, I just scored a blazer from my buddy that's like an early 2000's survivor. Shaved door handles, did flip out head unit, monitors in the sun visors, metal flake paint with flames. And rather than take it all away, I'm just gonna update a little bit, bag it, and run it just like that. So many older mini truckers around here are stoked that I'm leaving it that way haha

To spin off of the shutting down freeways to drag, we use to shut down freeways to race. Block all the lanes and shoulders and run wave after wave of races before moving on.

I look at the podcast this way, we’re all friends and my friend Frank is super excited to talk about his kids softball tournament I’m going to be excited to listen. If my buddy Brian wants to show off the work he did on his yard or talk about the new trucks he’s thinking about, I’m there to hang out and listen. I don’t talk about mini trucks and shows 24/7. I also talk about hot rods and Kustoms lol. Keep it up guys. I’d rather hear a rambling conversation on an episode than to not have an episode at all.

I'm all good for the softball talk, but I'm a bit biased as Frank knows my kid is into it now too. I know exactly the excitement he feels. I mean, people that really wanna support will tune in and ride out these episodes. If you guys run out of ideas, you've done plenty of stuff in the past you can chat about. Bust out some old DVD's and do some commentary. Or talk about some old shoots you've done for magazines, or past work ect. Watching Frank be so stoked on the Buccee's purchase and execution of his plan was fantastic. He was so stoked. The drink you guys were thinking of us Slush Puppy where you get the frozen slush and add the flavour. That's the one with the Dog Mascot. Got a 7/11 right by my place and hit it up all the time. Got a good picture of my truck there, but need to update it with the changes I made. Can't enjoy the Slurpees cause of good ol diabetus, but I crush plenty of Big Gulps...haha That Gene Winfield stuff is crazy. Be interesting to see how it all unfolds.

sure you fellas want “honest” feedback ?! a year ago on one of Frank’s videos I commented on how much I enjoyed it, but wished it was longer than 5mins. Have heard him mention it several times on the pod and still acts like it was some kind of personal attack. imagine if Id written something negative…. podcast continues to kick arse about 95% of the time .. but given we dont pay to listen who are we to complain. cheers from Down Under 🍻🤘

Been a viewer since the start and I have to agree the last few episodes were pretty rough to get through. Some things I would like to hear is what's going on with some builds, like what is panda built, tre5, phat phabs or local people building, What's new in the truck community, what shows are going on stuff like that but still a great pod cast. Keep it up. 👍🏽
