You are a smart lady to return home to Jamaica from USA to fully oversea the building of your house in front of your eyes so you know what's going on watching all the workers. If you travel to USA for a short period of time, stop all building until you return. Don't put your trust in family, friends, workers if you aren't on the premise WATCHING. I know you have a lawyer. Quietly get another lawyer to review the paperwork of the first lawyer. Make sure the deed is in your name and have your beneficiaries.😂 God Bless 🙏
