Books: I like books for reference rather than patterns. The essentials of Knitting, Norah Gaughan's Cable book, Knitting Ganseys, Clara Parks books: the Knitter's Book of..., Ann Budd's books sweaters, hats, mittens; I have 2 fair isle sweater books, but haven't made any because the colors are not available; they are still gorgeous. Magazine subscription: Long Thread Media has Farm Knits (?).
