Hi Linda, the weather is the same here in the mornings and by the mid afternoon it's time to tuck up so the pudding is just the thing. It keeps well, btw. The two bowls I showed were the day after in the microwave. xx

Wow, that hand spun looked amazing! The color work was stellar. Nice neutrals. Joining you in the kitchen was fun. I find it so engaging to watch others actually living in their space. Hi Pene. It was lovely to see you this morning. After a hectic weekend, we spent yesterday in a&e with Andy's mum. Thankfully, after lots of checking, we were able to bring her home. It's dad's anniversary in a couple of days, so that hasn't helped the situation. Today, I'm struggling a slow, quiet day in order. Seeing your girls reminds me of my sister and I. Gosh was the lightening strike classed as an act of god? Only one of our chimney stacks fell on my car roof and my car insurance refused to pay out for the repair. How lovely to see you with Pete, you’re both looking well. Oh Tommy 😋 he sounded pleased by the look of the pudding, I might try that recipe. What a nice fairisle garment, clever you. I knitted my husband one in the 70’s it was a labour of love ❤ thank you for sharing. 😊

I made a lemon pudding like that from my old BeRo book, just the other day. They call it lemon surprise pudding. It was nostalgic for the 2 of us, now we're grandparents, as I fon't think I've made it since our daughters were small. You know, sometimes you forget about yhe lovely flavours you used to cook all the time! I think the quantities are smaller in my book.

We make this in the US. We call it lemon pudding cake. It's one of my favorite desserts! We always put it in the hot water.

I don't do it now. I gave away my spinning wheel, carding the fleece became a bit much in the living room - now of course you can buy the tops. Have thought about it but I'll stick to knitting my stash at the moment, I don't want to create more wool!! Ooh I wish it was spring, I'll have to pop round. xx. A dull misty November day here. xx
