You are a riot in your Roller Girl cap! It must be a new one as I don't remember the gray one. So adorable! Gosh, this was a terrific episode! The talk you did about Agatha Christie and see Greenway and the surrounding country...magical! I watch the Agatha Christie films - streaming them and I can just watch them over and over and over. I have to say all the actresses (I know they are all called actors now, but I need to be old-fashioned sometimes) who play Miss Marple are just wonderful but my favorite is Geraldine McEwan. She is just so perfect with her little hats and her knitting and her cardigans. And what would have happened if David Suchet had not been Poirot? I love Miss Lemon and wanted her to be in all the stories. Your daughter is so pretty and has exactly your smile. Lucky her! I found a fabric store a few hours from her that sells the mouse fabrics and others designed by Daniela Drescher and Sophia Drescher as well as all the Tilda fabrics. I love the Tilda called Hometown and then the piece called My Neighborhood. I am going to order a lot of fat quarters just to have. I have to say, I did not know that the thimble goes on the finger to push the needle. I don't quilt - not yet anyway. Had better get a move on if I want to. Pen, finding your channel and enjoying all your episodes has been such a gift to me and I know to many others as well. Stay well, all of you. Best, Kris

Sweet Pene - I fell down the depression hole and have not been letting myself keep up with your channel even though it would have cheered me. Things are getting better so I am catching up. I watched the last couple and just loved seeing you and all your doings again. The little piece for the MousealongMakealong is charming. I hope you win the trip to Istanbul, or the fluffy ball of wool (even better). Pete has my sympathy facing the dental work. I am a huge baby when I have to go. It's embarrassing but I go to pieces (inside my head mostly). Won't comment about the weather but it is a worry. I agree about charity shops being a disappointment. We do have a very enjoyable one here in our town but I am dismayed about some of the things they throw away. I go every day as it is a block from my home. The manager gives me things - yarn, sewing notions, and wool fabrics. The first place I check is the box of books bound for the recycling. I am not sure why they get rid of so many lovely ones. I have a lot of terrific books just out of that box. I got a stack of "coffee table" books about Ireland one day - just beautiful! I want to go to Ireland but of course must content myself with the books. I just listened to Agatha Christie's Poirot in the audio book "The Blue Train" while I crocheted a cat bed. So good and read by Hugh Fraser who was Hastings on the series I believe, on the TV. Heather's poem was terrific. She has an alter ego in that Poetry Pixie. And of course, seeing you three girls in your crocheted hair nets brought tears to my eyes. I don't know how you find the strength to share you lovely mom and not weep. I suppose it is because she would not want you to feel anything but joy when you think of her. I am going to buck up and get back to watching your channel right away with each episode. Dear Pene, Thank you for this delightful video. It was such a joy to see all your crafting projects, and listen to Agatha's story (she's one of my favourite writers so I was very eager to learn about her life). I also loved the chat you had with your husband and was surprised to learn that you've been together for so long! Wow 56 years! You truly are 2 halves <3 I was watching and knitting on the body of a mouse that jumped on my needles right after I heard that wonderful poem from your friend yesterday. I plan to finish in time but even if I don't I want to thank you and Helen and your friend for motivating me to make this wee mouse. Like you, I love these long daylight hours! One of the joys of being in Orkney recently was that it never really got dark - I’m not sure that I’d enjoy being in the far north in winter, though! I really love seeing what’s on your crafting table and of course it was extra-special to see the mouse-related projects! Thanks for sharing your week with us. The bunny socks are just stunning. The color contrast really makes the pattern stand out. I look forward to that forest light jumper. I think the chosen wool is going to work so nicely in that colorwork. I absolutely love those mouse fabrics. So charming. I commented to Helen that I find it so funny we all love mice so much, as long as they are not scurrying about in the house! Although I think my cats would love that😉. Hi Pene. Finally, I got to watch . We got back late yesterday from the Cumbrian yarn fest. Then, the Internet decided to pack in. Loving all the mouse makes. Hi penny, enjoyable one again, I knew the ray charles songs too, great music. Interesting things about Agatha Christie, just loved the socks you made, so clever, just looking at the woodlands where you and your family were walking,everything looks so green. I do remember how green the landscape was when I visited england,and that always stuck in my mind, so different here,although you can have green and lovely deciduous trees where we live, you also have to water a lot in summer. Our trees are without leaves at the moment being winter,just have some Daphne flowers out and some early Jonquils and lavender,can’t wait for the bulbs to bloom,we have planted quite a few this season coming. Another completely enjoyable episode. It's nearing 10:30 p.m. as I start a pair of shortie socks and listen to what is going on in your life. The tablecloth gets more beautiful every time I see it and I am excited to see your new sweater plan. When I finished the episode I had to go listen to Ray Charles sing "Ruby". My slightly older brother had the album and I recognized it after one line. The ending video was beautiful! Your camera is excellant.

Chinwag always lifts my mood and this episode did just that , twas awesome. Thank you Pete for another record choice complete with anecdotes. I paused and had to play Ruby and then yes I understood why you sang it, found myself singing along. Now that Ive joined the edge of the crafting world I so appreciate and love seeing the variety of what’s on the table however I dont think you sleep…you must stay up all night as you get so much accomplished.
