Aw loved this! 🫶🏻 Such a good point with the mention of which perspective it is written in; I can see how that makes a big difference. Even when told in first person, I still tend to just read like an observer of their thoughts. It’s so interesting. Maybe a need a more compelling read! 😂 Another thought in that same vein is if you have an inner monologue. I do, but I’ve heard of a lot of people who don’t have one, nor a “mind’s eye” either. Sounds like you both do if you visualize the settings well! I wonder how someone that doesn’t ends up experiencing books and their descriptions. Very interesting how we all experience this life so differently. ✨ I hope you enjoy this week’s books!

I love watching these bookchats! I have always had a love for books since I was a kid and I'm wondering if you both enjoyed reading as a child or if it's a hobby that started more as an adult? Also do you guys read to your own kiddos? I am a homeschool mom and books have always been a big part of my kids education, I try to read a chapter from our current read aloud every day. I love sharing old favorites and new reads with them. Also thanks for adding to my TBR pile lol.
