I'm sad to learn that Pedro didn't feel great about his read. @@JamesCalbraith condor operation, a funny thing about that genocide is that the Argentinean dictatorship was really unpopular so they went to the old trick of war, and attacked a little island, Las Malvinas, of like 40 English Shepards and some sheeps thinking Reagan would convince Maggie T that let them had that ugly cold rock where allways was raining, just outside of Argentina, little did they knew that kinda of shittie place is what the Englishman call home, so Maggie T went full force to retake the island, the USA selled the guns to the UK after the failed negotiation, probably to both countries but I'm not sure, and some hundreds of people, young Argentineans mustly, for a place that nobody wanted never in History with literally no value, I think not even the aboriginal people from the land of fire that worship the earth and take showers on the south pole wanted that place.

Wow, I realize it's been 2 years, but I just watched this and I have to say it is my favorite interview with Pedro. There is a human quality to him that I feel is lacking in so many big celebrities (exception: the two of you, of course😉). And his vulnerability as a person, despite being the world's heartthrob, is something we can all relate to. Makes me want to hug him, you know? Not that I don't enjoy the GQ / movie thing, but it was refreshing and endearing to observe the lion is his natural habitat😂. And thank you guys for asking such amazing questions!

I wish I had known about pedro before last of us….he would have lightened up my mood during covid (his interviews, not his view on pandemic lol). Im same as pedro…I catastrophized. I thought humanity was ending.

I can imagine a community movie paying homage to ‘The Mandalorian’. It can be one of the reasons how they can get Troy Barnes back to the plot.

for real though they should implement virtual production like the mandalorian bc it could be cheaper if they made a movie about getting troy

This is why I always enjoy when celebrities interview each other more. I mean I know most of those other interviews the people doing them are getting paid to ask them to talk about their shows and stuff and that's their whole purpose. But I just enjoy actually get to know about celebrities as people themselves a whole lot more. Like it's fun to get to hear about their family history and stuff like that.

I wasnt familiar with pedro's life story before this episode. I just knew him as the guy who was in the mandalorian and the new wonder woman movie (and of course the community table read.) Hearing him talk about his parents was just amazing. Thank you for having him on as a guest!

I love that he still remembers his Buffy episode so well! I'm glad it meant so much to him. I became a fan of his because of Oberyn and had no idea who he was before he got the role on Game of Thrones so I was absolutely shocked when I saw Buffy on his imdb. I've been a huge fan of Buffy since I was around 12 years old but I didn't recognize him when I saw him on Game of Thrones at all. He looks and sounds so different! I went back to rewatch that episode of Buffy immediately as soon as I found out and was just in shock at how much he's changed. I'm happy that poor little dead Eddie made it big! Pedro was fantastic in Game of Thrones, one of my favorite characters despite only being on it for one season, and I'm really loving the Mandalorian so far!

I've been binge watching every Pedro's interview and this is the best one. His story about his parents are more elaborated than previous interviews he had. And also, did Pedro had imposter syndrome too? Coz I can relate with him being vulnerable cracking up at the table read and thinking he's not doing enough while the rest of us watching it thought he did a great job.

This was so much fun to watch and thanks for doing this podcast with Pedro. He was such a joy to watch and he really is the nicest, sweetest guy and I know he won’t see this but just wanted to say your doing an amazing job on the Mandalorian. That’s not an easy character to play especially with the helmet on but you are still able to portray to the audience what he is thinking and feeling, your a very talented actor and your finally getting the recognition that you deserve.
