Karl's brother, Mark who passed away a few years ago, could have been a terrible influence on Karl. Great work! I was thinking that it might be a great idea to make some kind of sleep compilation. A lot of people like to go to sleep with Karl talking in the background but are sometimes waken up by the histerical laughing of Ricky. There is a lot of what Karl has said over the years that I believe has aged quite well. There is a lot of what Ricky has said over the years that I believe has aged quite poorly. Non of which they realised at the time but there you have it. The Irony. Karl embodies the literal definition of a genius, Ricky embodies the literal definition of a fool. Probably adds to the last interview as to why the pioneers left it where it was. Still, though, no matter which way you spin it, its the genius and the fool that wouldn't be where they are without eachother. And of course Steve was the glue and foundation, half the time the only sain one there. A metaphor for life come to think of it.

Like my other favourite pleasure on youtube (guilty or otherwise) - Lex and Cinnabon (just clips of a nice, sweet man and his gorgeously handsome cat, Cinnabon - look 'em up), they help lull me into a smooth, sweet slumber every night, The other thing to do this, of course,, is Karl *wait for it*...DILKINGTON). Much like Cinnabon he is cute, charming, insensible, irresistible to female (cats), acts on instinct, scarcely sentient, except in the way of a worm, perhaps, or an especially perspicacious wasp...I have listened to Karl be bullied, provoked, stimulated, humiliated, mocked, toughened, re-charged, re-calibrated, re-designed, re-jigged by Gervais and Merchant (to be fair they can be cruel but it is purely for his betterment - I genuinely believe this - they do have his best interests at heart, and they only lash out properly when he is being astronomically doltish - for instance, when he took the phrase 'people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones' to literally mean 'don't be chucking stuff about in your glass house'. I mean...regardless of how few GCSEs you may or may not have, that is sub-cretinous - it warranted a severe rebuke). And the betterment of humanity. These originated in around 2002, and I've listened to them hundreds of times, and still get virtually the same enjoyment out of them. They got through many an otherwise difficult interminable night (long story). So, like I should thank Howard Stern, Lex and Cinnabon, I will also extend this gratitude to Karl, Ricky and Steve. Play a record!
