Eli has mastered the art of youngest BS. It has a distinct smell that parents are oblivious too, but siblings smell a mile away.

Charlie, this video was awesome! Please do one with your brothers. I love the relationship that you have with your siblings! You all make me laugh. As Queen Elizabeth said “recollections may vary.” What the older siblings experienced with the parents, the younger ones experienced something different. The parents learned from the older ones how to deal with different situations. As they got older they probably were a little bit more chill and tired!🇨🇦👏🏻👀👏🏻🇨🇦🥰👍🇨🇦

I want to know if it’s true what they say about big families; (1) is it true that your parents get more & more relaxed about discipline as they go down the line when raising kids? (2)Do parents truly go down the list of your siblings names to get to yours? (3) Were you allowed to say “I don’t like that!” At the dinner table? (4) What’s a water/electrical/grocery bill run? (5) Who were you more scared of mom or dad? (6) Does ANYONE ever get a room to themselves if they aren’t the youngest?

Nine kids in the family. 1. Not necessarily. The younger kids have a different experience because they have more adult siblings and nieces/nephews, but my parents have not lowered their standards as far as behavior. 2. Yes, although they usually are able to keep boys separate from girls. And sometimes they hit the dogs name as well. 3. Yes. We usually had to try one bite, but if we didn’t like it we didn’t have to finish it. But we weren’t catered to, so if we didn’t like the meal mom wasn’t going get us something different. 4. I don’t know. I do know when we went to aldi we would get 3 carts of stuff. 5. Probably dad but neither of them were quick tempered so not really that scared of either of them. 6. The younger kids do once the older half is moved out.

As 1 of 13, number 10, and I also have 7 sisters. I remember when my youngest sister was maybe 9 or 10 my older sister was working as a waitress and would put her tip money on her dresser. It was disappearing and the younger sister having unexplained resources. When she was asked about it she said well no one was using it. She thought it was a reasonable rational. We laughed and still do laugh about it.
