I have nine kids, having a big family is a blast! Their all grown the baby is 20 and when we all get together we laugh and talk about the good times and how hilarious it was. We had so much fun and today all my kids are close to their sibs, they call each other to talk and get together when they can. It makes me so very happy that they are all best friends. It's been my privilege and pleasure to raise these kids and embrace their diverse personalities and experience what amazing adults they are today. Kudos to the Berens family for their 12 kids and seeing how much they enjoy one another!

Watched the whole thing- It's beautiful! I love listening to adult siblings tell the tales of growing up- so sweet and stuff that's really funny to them. I'm the oldest kid and grandkid- my younger sister and brother (and cousins) can slip right back into telling tales and remembering the good times we had. Thanks for sharing this- looking forward to Part 2!

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. I'm the oldest of 12, now in my mid-30's, and so grateful for the big family culture I grew up in--twas a crazy adventure. We had a green 15 passenger because my mom refused to drive a "church van"--we called it the Green Bean. 😂 Looking forward to part 2!

Also Charlie I saw you at the Agora when you were in town and loved it. I am a bartender there as a second job but took the night off to watch your set and you did not disappoint. Keep it up guys!

So hilarious! I have 2 brothers no sisters. Crazy stories. Always wanted a sister! But plenty of female cousins, are female cousins called cousinettes? spent many hours in those long 15 seat vans, noisy cold. Lived in Minnesota 1 hour east of Fargo Moorehead little town called Fergus Falls at a Norwegian American Lutheran Brethren boarding school called Hillcrest Lutheran Academy. No dancing no movies, no bowling or MTV But we were kept very busy! Amazing academics, basketball, music, to stay out of trouble and stay warm. Great year! 1985 to 1986! Knew many good people from Wisconsin !
