No need to take emergency pill. Depending on what pill she was taking, she should take the missed dose immediately and continue the rest of the doses and use additional method like condom till the next period

If there was ejaculation inside the vagina , then there are chances of pregnancy. It is not necessary to have side effects of emergency pills. It is important that she should have periods by the expected date otherwise do a pregnancy test
