Weight & diabetic drugs: 1) metformin is weight gain neutral 2) glitazones are weight gain positive (increases weight) 3) GLP -1 Agonists (incretins) are weight gain negative (decrease weight) Note: incretins increase insulin, decrease glucagon, & decrease gastric emptying
