Your quilts are lovely, Sarah. It’s so wonderful that your nieces and nephew are quiet and knit worthy! How neat it would be to learn how to draw all the beautiful creatures that walk through my property. I wonder………….🤔 I hope you feel better soon! 🌻

So comforting viewing You and Your work here on the south Puget Sound…..Olympia…..making cross stitch “smalls” for what I call Christmas legacy gifts ie biscornu for Grandkids (that may or may not appreciate them at this time in their lives)…. Loved how your quilt came together….almost serendipity in presentation….watch that voice as a retired high school teacher….upper respiratory virus can put you out of wack for awhile….Peace

Oh yes please to the knitalong. Sitting down to knit colourwork with you, nicole and corinne is kind of a fantasy scenario for me 😊, it may never happen in person but virtual is better than not at all and what better way to start 2025?! Count me in.

Thank you Carol, I love filming outdoors but it's always an adventure battling it out with the wind, light and any lurking wildlife. Those squirrels on the microphone are crazy! Glad you enjoyed the episode

I just joined your Patron group and I am planning to knit the Agnes as my epic 2025 project. I have a bunch of Rauma for the color work and some more for the MC on the way. I also love to quilt and began nature journaling this past year with Dotty at The Net Loft, a yarn and art store in Cordova, Alaska

EPIC 2025!!! Oh, the Net Loft! How lucky are you!!! I love that shop and often visit for inspiration. I'm excited for the Agnes and to knit with Rauma!

Thank you Sarah - I could hear you fine against the wind and scrunchy leaf noises! Very atmospheric - no problem!

That's good to know, it's always an adventure pitting myself against nature and filming! Often times the squirrels win!

When you talked about your nature journal and drawings I felt that I could relate. I do some very irregular journaling and one thing I want to do is add drawings but since my drawing skills are a bit random (sometimes success and sometimes failure 😉) I have also come to the conclusion that drawing on a separate piece of paper and glueing it in if I like the result is the way to go.
@FiberTrek2 күн бұрын
Looks like we're in the same boat! It alleviates the pressure to draw separately doesn't it?

I’m from Brisbane Queensland Australia, I just finished knitting an emotional support chicken and some socks where I hand dyed the yarn. I’ve cast on a Camisole No4 by my favorite things knitwear using Sandnes Garn Tynn Line yarn to see if I like knitting with that yarn. So far I’m enjoying it 😊 thank you for sharing your projects, I’m sorry you have been sick and hope you’ll be feeling great again soon. Thank you for all the work you put into your videos, it’s greatly appreciated.

Presently I’m seriously knitting on a 1/2 wrap Shawl (that’s not the correct name for it-I can NEVER remember the correct name) by Purl Soho. It’s a little more than 1/2 complete. It’s for my granddaughter in her school colors(U of KY) for 🤞Christmas. Also working on the Pathway Shawl by Meiju Knits. It’s a major cabling adventure-my first. I bought yarn at Rhinebeck this year from Tidal Yarns to do the Two by Two sweater. I’m itching to start it, but I must get a little further along on my 1/2 wrap. I love the book you showed. I hopped right on over to Amazon and put it on my list. I’m trying to get a nature journal going myself. I really enjoy My Nature Diaries podcast-aiming to get as good as she is!😉Have fun and get well soon.

Hi Sarah. I've had the yarn for Kristin Wiola's- Dance Around Cardigan sitting in the studio for awhile now. Would love to join your KAL in Jan 2025, and even if I only get the sleeves knitted, it's a start!

Hello! Lovely video. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm interested in the Agnes Cardigan KAL. I've purchased the ebook but not yarn yet. I'd like to hear about what others are doing for yarn choices. TWTs yarn kit is beautiful.
@FiberTrek2 күн бұрын
I'll be sure to have people chime in about their yarn choices and I'll take a look at what could be substituted too! I'm glad you're thinking of joining!

Thank you for your video. I would be interested in a Wiola KAL, but I have not done much colorwork and am working on my first sweater. Maybe I will choose a smaller project to knit along in the same spirit and building my skills. What do you think? Any suggestions? Cheers!
@FiberTrek2 күн бұрын
Hurray! And I would think a little accessory would be nice practice for a larger project by the same designer. I hope you join in!

If it were me and if you know exactly how you completed the first sleeve AND ......if you are happy with the first sleeve, I would replicate what you did. It would be heartbreaking to finish Sleeve #2 and have it not match. Good luck!

I am all most ready to steel my Agnes and posted it on TWT fb page and my colors are different and I used J and S from my lys as they are showing me how to steek….where are the colors you picked?
@FiberTrek2 күн бұрын
I haven't posted my colors yet but that's coming for the New Year, they are very similar to the dark Agnes designed by Wiola. Congratulations on a finish and in J and S no less, must be gorgeous! I hope you're enjoying it by now!
