Yes, agreed! I go into our charity shops and even the bigger stores aren’t anything like Good Will in the US. Its still fun thrifting though, I’ve found a few hard back books and other bits and pieces while out hunting 😊

I remember seeing both of them at the same time - I think it was when you were making over your old kitchen (it was all white, some time before the lake house) and I remember falling in love with those furry little guys! 🥰🥰🥰 I thought maybe something had happened to Stu because Henry seemed to be the one liking the camera most recently. I love thrifting for decor but have to put the brakes on the urge to buy!! 😅. My find of the year was a porcelain basket by Belleek, the oldest porcelain manufacturer in Ireland in business since 1860. It was at a hospital thrift shop for $7.50 in perfect condition. I had seen the identical basket at an antique shop for 5 times the price!! That made my day!! ❤❤❤

And since you are deliberately carefully choosing each piece makes it just more special. So many designers go minimal with their decor and that is ok too. Your Habitat Store is very nice. The one in our town is a bit trashy and they have things priced as new when it's all been donated. I don't even go there anymore because of the changes. You found some really cute decor at yours, love the ornaments and the prices were great.
