Great episode. You guys touched on a lot of important gameplay aspects that are detrimental to the Yugioh experience. Accesscode/Update jammer definitely get overlooked because so much of what is oppressive in Yugioh is Proactively powerful instead of Reactively like these cards. But Accesscode is still a spell speed 4 removal machine which can trivially achieve over 5k ATK. Cards like it and Borrelsword exacerbate Yugioh's tempo problem by trivializing defense and LP. For Branded: with Expulsion staying in the form of Incandescent dragon I think the best iteration of Ryan's option 2 is to hit every summonable floodgate that can be accessed by Branded Fusion and the Finale dragon. Principally this would be Lights and Darks. A huge imposition on the banlist to try balancing Branded's intended sub-theme of giving your opponent monsters that Albaz can fuse with. I would like to hear Ryan expand on the idea of preventing unfun gameplay interactions in Yugioh by examining times Konami has actually done this (Tyrant Neptune, Grinder Golem), cards that following this philosophy should go now (Blaze Fenix), and cards that will need to go by consequence of known future cards (Ceruli/Sillva, Metalsilver Armor).

u really need to play shs and experience it yourself, u say things like "u can already do this" yeah in other decks u can with 2+ card combos while shs can do it with 1 card combo 12 starters, u have room for 15-20 non engine handtrap sure u cant play spell but so far i havent seen issue with it in different testing fields,

Accesscode's WR is a good, but not as good as Spirit Message "L". You'd have to ban the both.
