Wonder if the ears were a bit smaller if it would look less mouse like? Or if the background was darker? The hippo would pop out more? I bought the book and can't wait try them all myself.. but I'm waiting until I'm done with my current project. Also, I totally would've risked popping a button to wear that dress too, It's so cute!

Haha after filming this I seam ripped some of the darts and it fits much better now! I'm so relieved, I didn't want to have to get rid of it! It's sooooo pretty 😍

For some reason, the "nose" part seems lighter than the restof the hippo... Anyway, it tend to be lost in the big pictur and without it, it's not possible to see the hippo. Maybe usesing a slightly more darker grey for the "nose" would have help make the reasult feel "Hippo".

The snout seem asque, and maybe a darker color would make It pop?

If the nostrils were bigger it would be more obvious.
