Hah! As soon as you said the last item I thought of Alice Cooper’s “Steven” and there it is. That was a tough list. It’d take me half a day to research and gather up all my stuff that would fit. Luckily, I don’t do videos (yet). The only live albums I am on are ones downloadable direct from the artist: King Crimson Columbus 2001 and Metallica Pittsburgh 2018. There may be a chance of others, but it would take some research. I do have one flexi - the Opeth one around the time of the previous album. As far as multi-format singles and all the singles for an album, I have all five Metallica black album cassingles plus their respective import CD singles. Fun stuff! It’s always fun to interact with others afflicted with the same love of music and physical media.

No logo Brian! NLB. I’m on board with that rebranding. On gluten “Suck it up big boy!” 😂 I’m surprised you had a box set in this video. I want to get Wishbone Ash “Argus” per your recommendation a few times. I like your method of listening to a band’s releases in sequence to hear the progression. Marillion everywhere in your estate.✌️
@AisForAliceBisForBob4 күн бұрын
Hey Mike! T-shirt design for NLB in the works, it will be a one-off that he will wear at the soiree. 'Argus' has to be in my top 25 of all-time. I think I started the listening in sequence during the CD era. I have gazillions of Marillion....

I had the intention of doing this tag, even pulled out some records for it, but found that I am lacking on flexi-discs and those useless longboxes. But, I might do it anyway, probably will. I'm sure Brian has had his daughter on there once to review an album, you have to go through the Robot Archives to find that one. Okay, you just gave me an idea for the longbox question, I have a few of those longbox style box sets I can use. So cool that you got to go to that "Arriving Somewhere But Not Here" tour. I'm jealous now. I have the same issue with having to listen to an album all the way through, I don't like to skip tracks, even if I don't like a certain track. Sometimes I find I like something about a stupid song that I didn't previously notice, but usually, I just block it out. Ok, have a little mercy on us Canadians, vitamin D deficiency is normal in this state (which reminds me, do you even have room for a 51st star?). Great response!
@AisForAliceBisForBob4 күн бұрын
Hey Mike! I think I've seen PT 8 times, but that is (one of the few) advantages of living in Chicago. I know what you mean about discovering something in a song, or even an album that you missed on first 50 plays or so. Took me over 40 years to get into 'Lamb' by Genesis. Cheers!
@RandyforRoyals6 күн бұрын
Wow. I didn't know Brian's back story. I do have quite a few of those long box sets. That's quite impressive to have been at so many shows that had album releases. You are correct in that I know that I at least heard every song on that Boston album played on the radio. Great use of Alice Cooper.
@AisForAliceBisForBob5 күн бұрын
Hey Randy! Yes, quite the, almost creepy story behind Brian's channel.....Guess that is one advantage to being in Chicago is that all bands come through here on every tour. It is a very moving song that Alice wrote about me. Cheers!

Hey Steve, No, not acronyms, but NLB is not bad! I might have to surprise everyone with a logo soon. Come back and see my records is the modern day "come and look at my etchings." BTW, I did a video with Zola when you were on hiatus! Hilarious comment about Spin on This! Wow, you have been immortalized in these live recordings. I may have to buy them just because of that. The cheese and tea thing made me laugh! Nice to see you incorporating Alice Cooper! I forgot to open a bottle of wine, but this was enjoyable even without alcohol. I do take vitamin D supplements. I can guarantee there will be no tag next year 🙂 Excellent video!

Hey Brian! First of all, thanks for being a good sport, sometimes I worry that I may go too far. After all, I am nearing 70 and getting to the point where one is allowed to say anything they want. I'll have to look for the video with Zola; AKA, the neighborhood kid you kidnapped for a day. You might want to stick with the thread, it's been a bigger hit than I thought it was going to be. I will be designing a one-of-a-kind "NLB" shirt just for you, which I will bring to the MGK bash. Cheers!
