I've started using the "pop of color" on the cuff to help the other people in my house know which socks are theirs. Husband gets red, daughter gets pink, son gets neon pink (they chose their colors). It's really helped keep them from stealing my socks (well, mostly. Son keeps taking the same pair of my socks even though they won't come close to fitting him LOL)

I vote that you start with the Garden Faries yarn! I also would love to see a video about how to adapt the vanilla sock pattern to make scrappy socks, including when to weight the yarn to make sure you will have enough to finish the socks. I am new to knitting and am working on making my first pair of vanilla socks using your pattern. I am finding that I am a very visual learning when it comes to knitting.

My granddaughter was watching the video with me when you were showing your ducks. She remind me that she has a Jeep in our shed and it doesn’t have any ducks. I guess I need to make some now! I haven’t crochet in years, glad for the excuse to start again.

The ducks are gorgeous and my mouth dropped open in awe of the Yarnable colourway...I actually said, out loud, "oh wow, look at that! Isn't it gorgeous?" to an empty house! 🤣)!
