Awesome episode, one of the most interesting imo👍 AST/ALT (elevated, regardless of ratio, it’s a problem) ratios can help distinguish WHAT might be the cause (medications, toxins, viruses). ALP has several iso enzymes, Bone, Liver, SI; Clinically (context of liver) is used to asses DUCT health leading into & esp pressure within main bile duct (not actual hepatocyte stress/lysis nor the gallbladder itself). ALP is also an important tumor/CA marker. GGT.. point is you REALLY need a medical expert interpreting nuances of your labs. Duh, right?
