Repurpose Your Purpose

Күн бұрын

A conversation on having multiple careers you love, telling stories, and what is normal (or not!).
Miyo Yamauchi, aka ‪@miyo.thestoryteller‬, joined me on The Repurpose Your Purpose Podcast to talk about finding work she loves through curiosity, becoming a storyteller, funny moments of misunderstandings as a Japanese woman in the US, and when a gut feeling is not really a gut feeling. At the end of the podcast I mention a blog post I wrote about intuition, here it is.
Let me introduce MIYO THE STORYTELLER, a Moth StorySLAM Champion who was featured in the first LA SLAM Showcase. Born and raised in Japan, Miyo brings a unique perspective and wry humor to her stories. She majored in Swahili in college-yes, seriously!-but now speaks the language of computers as a programmer. Beyond writing narratives for machines, she loves crafting and performing personal stories. Her solo show, "How To Be Japanese: Your Normal Is Not My Normal," has entertained audiences globally, blending laughs with cultural insights.
