The copper acts a a catalyst, changing one of your hand oils to a different chemical.

Roy, your replica revolver fires cartridges, like modern bullets? I've got one that looks rather similar, also a replica, but it fires black powder with a mini ball and uses a firing cap. Very messy, very cool. And there's a naval battle scene engraved around the cylinder.

Hey Roy, are you certain the iPhone screen protector box didn't get up, walk over to the fish tank and then jump in??? Hahaha Roy, I remember when you did your review of Karas Pens. It took me a while to get it, but I have one of their (Karas) copper fountain pens, along with a bunch of there regular pens. Tom, due to you and Roy talking about Gravitas (spelling?) I did purchase one of the Gravitas pens in Teal; great color, great feel and design to the pen.

I don't have a pen that I regret selling, but I do have one that I feel like I would regret selling and that is the laban formosa or whatever it's called. The skeleton, but it's based on the waves... idk. I ordered it and when it came, the nib and feed do not mesh at all and the pen simply doesn't write, and when it does, it just globs ink all over the page (all depending on how wet the ink is) but I just love the way it looks and feels in the hand, so I relegate it to display status

Tom was really trying hard not to laugh when you said “ I can sit and watch Clint and play with it”. We assume you meant your pistol?

Another fun episode…thanks! Love Laban pens…and speaking of skittles colors…anyone check on Esterbrook lately? Are they ok? I haven’t seen a new color release in a while😆 (and I’m an Esterbrook fan girl) …and Tom…there’s still a KMART in Guam 🫣. I have no pen acquisition/release regrets. I still have some pens I regret purchasing but have not yet released them from my collection; therefore, have not given myself the opportunity to regret letting them go😬 On a serious note, thank you for sharing Lyman Good’s info. My son is active duty and lost a close friend, who was also active duty, to suicide a few months ago. I recommended Lyman’s info to him and hope he shares it with his friends.
