My wife died suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 42 two weeks ago. We had been together for 27 years and married for 24 of those years. The saddest and most painful part is that she died in the company of strangers instead of at home with the people who loved her.

It is like in the second year my heart is desperately resisting what my head knows to be true. Definitely, feeling the reality on a deeper , more heart-crushing level.
