Its unfortunate that as black society and I'm speaking like this because I'm black, We see alcohol as an instrument to unwind whereas there are numerous activities we can use to unwind. which cost less than alcohol and have a healthier outcome. That why within our society we are diagnosed with most chronic diseases, especially man within they late 30s, which comes as a result of early unhealthy habits such as alcohol because alcohol leads to unhealthy diet.

There is a difference when drinking alcohol to mask your actions and in drinking alcohol, getting drunk and not being in control of your actions. Some people drink with a pre-meditated action to hide it with being drunk whilst others are just plain drunk and not in control. We cannot generalize being drunk and acting out as a pre-meditated action
