I’ve put about 12 or 15 hours (5 sessions) into Arydia so far and so far it’s been one of my favourite gaming experiences in years. The sheer number of small things this game does better than companies like dragori games, cmon and awaken realms is nuts. The production value is off the charts but you can also tell it’s been play tested to death which is weirdly rare for campaign games. It’s charm and sheer fun factor has been unmatched! Very interested to hear what you guys think. I genuinely think it is something special.

I hear ya! I am ~20 hours into a two-character campaign (Ranger and Cleric - Level 4), and I am absolutely loving it! It is a little fiddly working through the card index to find all the relevant Events, NPCs, POIs, Jobs, Foes, Travel cards, Threat cards, all the associated map components, etc., but it's a GOOD fiddly. Production value is amazing, even if the painted minis are pretty underwhelming. I mean... they aren't flat gray, so that's nice. I am very pleased with the character development. The progression is not so slow that you lose interest (Tanares...?), but not so fast that you are just updating stats all the time (looking at you Hexplore It). Looking forward to playing more!

www.youtube.com/@SamS-cb5ep - How many characters are you running? Paths?

@ I’m just running two characters - one is a felish path of arcana and the other is a lunari path of valor. I was unsure about valour at first but they actually have plenty of cool abilities and thinly things to do too - it’s not just move and punch things like in some dungeon crawlers. Edit: completely missed your first comment haha

@@SamS-cb5ep I wondered the same thing about Path of Valor... I stayed away for my first play but started being a little concerned I was going to need a bit more firepower. So far, so good.
