Episode 2: Growing up with epilepsy | Young Epilepsy Awareness Films

Life's journey is already full of twists and turns, but imagine navigating the path to adulthood with epilepsy. When you have epilepsy, taking the next ‘major step in life’ can feel like an even more daunting. On top of everything else that might change, you’re wondering “how will this affect my epilepsy?”
In this film we look at the topic of growing up with epilepsy, and hear four young people’s stories around how diagnosis, treatment, and seizure management has affected their lives so far.
Many underestimate just how significantly epilepsy can change young people's lives. We feel incredibly lucky that four girls were able to share their story with us and highlight the challenges they faced.
