Had a friend who work at a place that did the exact same exercise with cards for diversity appreciation. Insane part was that this was only couple years ago. The Office did it ironically but still hard to believe anyone would still think this was a good idea almost 2 decades later.

I agree with you about diversity day and the like. I’ve always said It’s their subtle way of continuing to fuel diversity in the name of acceptance and tolerance. We should just accept everyone equally as Americans. At what point did they convince Black people to segregate themselves from simply being an American by to refer to themselves as African-Americans? No other US citizen separates themselves by placing their country of origin ahead of their US citizenship. Asian- American, Jamaican-American, European - American, Irish American, Italian-American etc., They have so much more control over people than they’ll ever understand. “Create a problem so they can provide a solution.”
