The highest peak of Mt. Girnar is approx 3666 ft. above sea level. Climbing and descending 9999 steps requires patience, high level of energy and stamina. Mt. Girnar is said to be sacred and older than the Himalayas; it's a pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Jains. We visited Sakkarbaug zoo before returning back to Mumbai.
