Dr. Thapa is a specialist in the fields of hydropower and green hydrogen. In this episode, he discusses the promising future of developing countries in Asia and the Pacific through a strategic fusion of these two energy sectors, offering both economic and environmental benefits. As the head of Hydrogen Lab at KU, he's at the forefront of introducing hydrogen cars to Nepal.

i like this video but just to add why do we have electrics cars instead of hydrogen there are few things we have to consider. specially related to infrastructure, energy efficiency, and cost, that have slowed their adoption compared to battery electric vehicles.

it's not only about using hydrogen for a vehicle in Nepal. The bigger picture is to sell the hydrogen outside considering the cheap electricity in Nepal

@@MrBkas Where there is electricity, there can be charging stations. Nepal ma k long distance vanney, 200-300km hidyo ki long distance huncha , bahira jasto 800-900km hidna sakidaina . Teti hidna lai Charging station ma 40-50 minutes ko breaks chahincha nai. Car , Micro, Bus ta EV le nai cover garcha . Truck Pani herdai jaum . Hydrogen le purai energy Dina sakney hoina , Battery ma store garnai parcha , Ustai Truck le MegaWatt nai Khana sakcha . Nepal ma gudney truck ko size herera maximum ta EV nai huncha .
