All time is eternally present to God; everything has "already happened" from his point of view. We are finite, fallen beings living our short lives in which everything depends on what has happened before. The future seems all possibility, indeterminate; of the past we say it could have been otherwise "if only". Either way we look, it is all full of care about outcomes,prospects,. From God's perspective everything is already resolved. All our cares are satisfied
