Very interesting product, I like it! I've always practiced reading the plugs to verify fuel mixture. Thanks for the detailed explanation!

I'm planning on reading the plugs now that I should be closer with the colortune lead carb adjustment.

A nice biscuit brown colour is what you should be getting for the sparkplug colour. But not glassy looking as then it's too lean. Though the colour of yours isn't too bad. Might be worth getting a gas analyser to check the setting, more accurate than a colour tune, though a colour tune will get you very close. That and sparkplug reading.

I think you are right. The color tune should get me close. That spark plug was before the carb adjustments confirming what the colortune was showing. Looking forward to seeing those plugs again soon but unfortunately the car left me stranded again and I decided to install a new wiring harness. Should be a month before I get her going again.

@DEMOGarage ah yes, old wire and a fibreglass car.... I have that problem too. I have to be selective about which circuits I have on at the and time or I run out of electricity! Was parked up all weekend at the NEC Classic Car Show with the battery disconnected. When I reconnected it, the dash was like a Christmas tree with random flashing lights!

@DEMOGarage have you bought a harness or are you making it yourself?
