why u dont take off the fine tuning screws? they dont come out?

They don’t like it. If you take them all the way out they lose the zero setting and come further out than they can adjust for.

Adam Reiver from FU-Tone recommends not reusing that block shim plate... It's marked "S" in the parts list for the Floyd. He said it's unnecessary and it's a tone-sucker.
