Episode 21 - Polaris Ranger 500 Upgrades

On this week's episode Mike installs some new upgrades for the side-by-side, our Polaris Ranger 500. This includes a new Lock & Ride® CargoMax system for the bed to make it easier to stack firewood, hay bales, and other items here on the homestead. The upgrades also included exchanging out the stock tires with the Pro Armor® Wheel & Tire Set (Amplify & Attack). The tires provide better protection and traction which is necessary here at our homestead when crossing creeks or driving in the woods.

You can put that jack’s hook in your cordless drill and, no heavier than the Ranger is, it’ll lift it up effortlessly.

Next time might chalk the tires and lift the whole rear and whole front instead of doing one time at a time. That was fairly painful lol

Thanks for the suggestion. Lifting the entire rear with a standard car jack alone is a bit dangerous which is why I chose to do one at a time. If I had a paddle jack though I probably would have done it differently. Thanks again.

Anything that says Polaris on it is 10x more expensive than aftermarket. And not necessarily better. Many aftermarket accessories are quality at 10x less……..but if you got the $$$ and want to appear cooler toss that cash at it. 😅

The bed walls were $500 when we ordered them back in March 2021. It looks like they're up to $550 now.
