I just found your pod cast a couple of days ago [new knitter]. I have been binge watching and enjoying every episode! YOU ARE FABULOUS! You are a professional go getter in every way. I love seeing all the different sheep! Very nice socks! I hope to be able to go to Flock fiber next year! I’m working at a hospital, with fixed vacarion weeks that alter from year to year, so this year I need to work during the time! :(

Oh- those socks - silly geese, fancy flowers, little shorties- so good. I am knitting Taos Socks right now with some mosaic colourwork, which is fun. I get lots of charts off Pinterest for the baby hoodies that I knit. I should probably download a graphing tool as I spend hours with graph paper making charts and figuring out the math.m. Most of my baby sweaters over the years have been acrylic and the colourwork has been fine- definitely the fabric is not as forgiving. Now I more often use superwash merino or a blend like Berroco for baby sweaters as I think they need to be machine washable as inevitably they will end up in the washer accidentally over the life of a baby. The colourwork turns out fine. I have the book written by the designer of the silly goose socks. I hope to start making a few- she makes great patterns. Hope your son is healing well. Concussion is so scary. I wish I could join you at a fibre festival. Maybe one day I will get to one- maybe Knit City when it is in Calgary or Vancouver as they aren’t too far (8 hours one 4 hours) from me in the interior of BC.
