I'm 68 and couldn't name any Taylor Swift songs. Taylor is the world's most famous singer, and an American. All Americans should be proud of her, as she is a national treasure.

I'd try Marjorie. It's about her grandmother who was an opera singer. She had some success singing but nothing like being a household name or anything. But she passed and so the song is about making Marjorie's dreams come true though Taylor. Video is a lot of home movies of Marjorie. And she put an old recording of Marjorie singing opera in the background of the song at the end.

I’m 72. Seniors, your life will be happier if you treat yourself to listening to and watching Taylor’s videos. They are free and plentiful on KZbin. Taylor’s Folklore and Evermore albums are folksy, earliest albums are country, soft and hard pop, and other genre Taylor music widely available. Sit down and spend 5 minutes seeing why she can repeatedly sell-out every major stadium in the world. Don’t think I’ve seen even one story where a ticket buyer to an ERA tour concert complained about the experience and wanted money back. She wants to be appreciated for her songwriting so please take a few minutes to enjoy her gift to us.

I’m a father of a 15 year old daughter and she couldn’t care less about football as well as I couldn’t care less about Taylor Swift. This last year has been the best year having my daughter next to me caring about something I’ve cared about for 40+ years and for those who hate the influence of Taylor Swift…well I hate the influence you have on the men of the next generation 😢

Too bad you didn't raise her as a sports fan from the beginning. I'm 33 and have been watching all sports with my dad organically. Started out with the early 90s legendary Bulls, and my dad was impressed and would brag how I could remember all the starters names and jersey numbers at age 3-4. He was a VP of a branch of Citibank in Northbrook which is right where the Bulls players lived in their Lake Forest mansions, and Rodman would come in on his Harley with Carmen Electra on the back and my dad would make sure to give his specific bank teller the latest drawing I made of him because I was enamoured by his changing hair color, like it being pink. We watch tennis, basketball, I've sat through his beloved golf, and of course, the best of all is football...college and pros. I remember watching Michigan when Brady was playing. We're from Wisconsin. My late grandpa, dad and I watch the Packers since I can remember. I go to games at Lambeau with my dad as we have had season tickets for 40 years thanks to my grandpa. My mom watches Bucks games by herself or with my dad along with every Packer game as my grandpa (maternal) was the OG die hard fan since Starr as he grew up during the Depression. When they were dating, he'd take her to various Milwaukee games like Brewers and Bucks. Sad and pathetic that daughters and wives don't enjoy sports and watch with their loved ones because they just like seeing an annoying singer.

@@kelseyk530Ok Karen, i’l bite. That annoying singer has done more than your privileged self ever could. She rejuvenated the economy with her tour by bringing in 5 billion dollars of consumer spending. She also donated to every local food bank wherever she performs not to mention she also treated her crew fairly and generously by giving them $100k bonuses in the first leg of the US tour. Her appearances at games wearing merchandises/clothing by women owned businesses catapulted their brand awaraness to a new height (we stan women supporting women here) Let’s not even go to how many awards she has won or the courses taught at schools like Harvard, Stanford & Berkeley which was inspired by her amazing work as a songwriter. People are allowed to have different interests/hobbies. Just because your parents like it doesn’t mean that you have to like it too, but at the same time if her being at the games helps parents forge deeper bonds with their children then more power to her! And people are allowed to like her and sports at the damn time as well since they’re not mutually exclusive.

@@kelseyk530 Oh dear, you need to take a moment to work on yourself. Sad and pathetic certainly describes something. But not what's happening in households because of Taylor Swift. The idea that you can't hear a wonderful story from a dad who is so pleased and you can't help but to knock him down and throw shade at him. That's your reaction to hearing about a wonderful moment in someone's life. You see light and you want to snuff it out. That says so much about you. Sigh, I really wish you some form of happiness in life. I really hope so. Because it's not looking great for you right now.

NOW I watch EVERY Chiefs play and ask about the plays to understand football. I am on the edge of my seat during games. . I LOVE watching you two, too. You are FANTASTIC!!!! Thank you. This is quite a journey for me. I'm 76. If I was 17 it would be the same. I love watching the Travis-Taylor love story unfold. It involves music and football. I only ever watched football when there was a man in my life. Now there isn't, so I'm watching football on my own and I'm learning. I also purchased a streaming service so I could watch all the games. Yesterday for goodness sake I was watching a review of the plays from the Chiefs - Ravens game. Me, can you believe it, Me? AND, I've got Taylor's music streaming in my car, my phone and at home. I love them both. What's not to love, beautiful people, at the top of their achievements, talented beyond compare. I wish them all the best in their high profile world and thank them for giving me pieces of their love story along the way so that I can fill in the rest. Love you Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. And, thank you Erin and Charissa for LOUDLY and REPEATEDLY defending them. I love all of this!!!!

There has been a lot of chatter about WHY people are so obsessed with Taylor and Travis' relationship and the best explanation I saw was that if this was a book, we'd read it so much the covers fell off, if they were a movie, we'd watch it over and over, fans know she is living the kind of love she has written about and wanted for years - and IT'S REAL - not a movie, not a book. We can't look away - we want to see what's next and soak up the joy, happiness, and good vibes along the way.

NFL fan for 40 years, here, so I’m new to Taylor, but not to you two. Let me just say this: any time there’s an EA interview with ANYBODY, hubby and I stop what we’re doing to watch. When the game isn’t as exciting as we’d like, and we read a little or go get a snack, we’re always in our seats for the sideline interviews even if the game is lopsided. Halftime on Amazon, the postgame, all that … we’re here for Carissa’s professional-but-connected-and-accessible cat-herding of those adorable boys. (Fellow Seattle girl now living in KC - LOVE Richard Sherman! Run the damn ball!) 🥰🥰🥰 Y’all are hard on yourselves, and I get it. There absolutely IS a different standard for women. But from out here in TV land, we think you two are the greatest thing since sliced bread, and it’s not ‘cause you’re cute. It’s because you ROCK your jobs. Hubby watches every sports thing on KZbin he can find, but I only watch two … Calm Down, and New Heights. 👏

Being a mother is the hardest and most important job there is. It’s hard to show him love after you’ve held him screaming and crying all night and day EVEN THOUGH YOU DO!!! Don’t ever forget you know that baby better than anyone. ANYONE!!!! I was a mom that followed through with anything I said. I didn’t threaten my children if I couldn’t follow through. my middle son at 2 yrs old, absolutely refused to take his liquid antibiotics from the nurse in the hospital. The nurse asked me if I wanted to try. I very calmly told him that he had to take it to get well. He had 2 choices. He could drink it like a good boy. If not I would have to squeeze his mouth so I could pour it Down his throat. He sat up crying and drank the medicine. Tears ran out of my eyes. The nurse praised me as a mother. I know you are one of the best. Give yourself more credit than you do.

E you are going through postpartum. We mothers will always feel guilty for what we think we are or not doing. Yes, teething does cause blowouts. One son drooled like a St Bernard, forever. Great advice from your bestie, give yourself a break. Your body is still trying to balance hormones, it takes awhile. As far as Taylor is concerned, she has been back to football. My oldest son Sam and I were football fans, Denver Broncos. We talked football since he was a little dude. 7 years ago he died unexpectedly died from a pulmonary embolism at 37 years. Once this live story began I started watching Chief’s games (not easy for an older Bronco fan) this will be the first Super Bowl I will watch in 7 years. It doesn’t make me sad, I look forward to the excitement and love in the air. My first time catching your podcast, will definitely keep up with you girls👏👏

Love the podcast ladies. Y'all do an amazing job with the podcast and your regular jobs. It's nice to see the real side of people we watch on TV. I don't have any biological children, but I do have 2 stepdaughter and a stepson. My wife and I have been married 16 years in May. They mean the world to me, and we did the best we could to raise and teach the kids. Charissa is right that there's not a handbook on how to raise kids. Or what to do in every situation. You got to go with what you learned from your parents and life. The one thing you have is a husband who supports you and your job, and he's there helping take care of little Mac. Now that your season is over. You'll get a lot of quality and bonding time with your son. This will be time you cherish forever. Keep up the great work, ladies. Enjoy your little break because free agency and the draft are just around the corner. I agree that there is no going to DisneyLand or World without kids.

If it is in fact the Villages it also has the highest STD rate in the state of Florida 😂. You should go to Park Avenue in Winter Park. It’s 15 minutes from downtown. Cobblestone streets, fabulous boutiques and wonderful cafe’s and restaurants, and art studios. It’s great.

And it’s creating bonds between parents and kids as well as boyfriends/husbands and girlfriends/wives. Just so many “little” fans who can’t stand her and I swear it’s jealousy Plus, I guess you could say that Taylor Swift bright me to THIS podcast, which I never knew existed! Win win

Hey Ladies…..so glad you are both ranting , cause that’s the way I feel as well………I think there are a lot of women haters out there and they are very unhappy about a woman like Taylor Swift and how powerful she and her Swifters are…….i was married to a man like that, divorced. Him and he is now dead….he would be rolling over if he knew that I was watching football and loving all the goings on……Im 76 going on 60 and I love Taylor and Travis and wish them all the best….when it all started I said this will be great as he is a real man and that will be such a nice change for her with all these boys she has been with…….who doesn’t love the Kelce family, how could you not, Donna so proud, Jason and Kylie and those gorgeous girls who love their Uncle Trav to pieces ………even Andy Reid is happy about it all…………. something everyone should enjoy as there is so much sadness in the world today….how could anyone be unhappy for them………anyway keep up the great work , I love the podcast and all the craziness involved…….huge hugs and kisses to Mac he is so lucky to have you as his Mom , stop worrying you are doing a great job….❤❤ Donna in Toronto…

First off, big fan of both of you. Second, coming from the music world- I appreciate what Taylor has been able to accomplish, especially in this past year. I appreciate that Taylor is one of the VERY few pop acts that actually sings and actually plays. Outside of that… I don’t need to see her every commercial break or everytime Kelce touches the ball. I’m not saying it’s her fault, I’m blaming the NFL and the networks. It’s a distraction, it’s annoying and no I don’t need to see Eminem or any other celebrity… You wanna show them once, cool… you don’t see Eminem 37 times throughout the game. And the little girl screaming to daddy call me when they score so I can see the celebration is NOT watching the game. That said, good for her and Kelce. I’m happy for her and Kelce. Next up… teething and the blowouts are not related. It’s the insides growing and maturing with the foods the little peanut is consuming. For as disgusting it is…. It’s equally as fascinating. Erin, please don’t be hard on yourself. Being a full time worker and a parent is tough. Please know this… it is ok to include the little one in EVERYTHING. Obviously you can’t bring him on the field when you’re working, but during the offseason. Go to an outdoor concert, bring the kiddo. Go to fireworks… bring the kiddo. Hit up Disney, even now… he won’t remember but every experience is amazing to watch. As for the rant on complaints about the Patriots (and now Chiefs) always winning, I agree… you don’t like it, beat them. Y’all are still doing the podcast in the offseason? Please say yes!

Erin, as far as your boy's blowouts goes, have you changed his food diet any? For example, I remember there use to be different stages of baby food before you switch to table food. I just remember going through that with my kiddos.

Here's the problem, as football fan, I don't care about their relationship or lack thereof. I am being forced to care because it's kind of being forced down our throat. I don't hate Taylor. I don't hate Travis. I hate that the NFL and the networks have forced this on folks just trying to watch the game. Didn't care about Tom and Giselle, or Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson or Carrie Underwood, either. Does it have to be every week and every game she attends?

Sir*, so what if you're not interested*? Tons of other people are*!!!..and it's fulfilling & spicing up their football time even more..so pls can we be unselfish and share?!!! Unless u love watching football alone for the rest of your life*???! People love music, people love movies, people love other forms of art...so when they collide on the same court pls be open. The world is a big world.. the smaller you make it...the smaller your world will be😢. In the end..alone is no fun. Openess and learning from others makes our world expand wirh more opportunities and doors of experience to enjoy & partake. It makes for GREAT FAMILY ADVENTURES!!!😂❤😅 THE WONDER YEARS*!!! GOOD FUN, FAMILY/FRIEND TIME & ABUNDANT LIVING!!!

@@colleennomura4912 It's a football game, not a concert or a movie. It might be a passing interest who may be watching the same game you're watching, but it doesn't need to be a sub plot of every Chief's game from now til the end of Kelce's career there.

I hope you don’t have daughters. What you “as a man” wants while watching a football game is not more important than what others want. You are not the center of the universe. What women want also matters. Not 1950 anymore.

I don’t know any TS songs, but obviously know who she is. I don’t understand why people are giving her shit. She's not inserting herself into pre/mid/post game. She simply shows up, goes to her seat, and cheers like every other fan, and the NFL shows her for 30 seconds per game, against her knowledge or will. What's she supposed to do, not go?

Erin you may try baby oragel for your sons teething as well as a teething ring. They use to have rings that you put in the freezer. The cold feels good to the, as they bite on it. My son’s pediatrician told me kids are resilient. The first child you’re afraid of any and everything. The seconds, it like you’re ok! 😂 Agree with you ladies on the Taylor, Kelce topic. Their relationship is hurting no one. The networks and the NFL have to be happy gaining new fans. Keep doing what you’re doing ladies and enjoy your offseason.
