Episode 23: Aggressive Inline Progression #15

Hey guys!
This week was absolutely phenomenal for transition and vert progression. Bigger airs on non-vert, more grinds on coping including progress on top souls, and FINALLY airing over coping on vert! It's been a long slog and there has definitely been an invisible wall stopping me from going above but I'm glad to be feeling like it's breaking down and I'm relaxing. Can only go up from here!

Matt Forrest that was honestly how I felt some time ago! I was just looking at the first time I dropped into it, sept 19.... back then dropping in was huge and I wouldn’t have dreamed of facing off the vert wall straight after dropping in!!! Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Thanks brother =D Don't be jealous though! If you can frontside stall and re-enter fakie then you can fakie drop in, if you can fakie drop in then a fakie bomb in isn't that far removed from it. The next clip to come I'm pretty sure has the day I learnt to fakie bomb in on a 7ft and that once was scary! You'll have to give them a go when parks reopen for you! Happy to do a little tut if it helps

You definitely should! We have some amazing skateparks and bowls here. Bowls have become a very popular addition to our parks so they're always popping up and kids love them. Top sides... I didn't find them so difficult on the Aeons, but Salomons with Sola frames, there's such a small soul and the frame feels taller than usual? So it's making it quite difficult to get on properly

Thirty and Rollin have you skated aeon 72s? I’m eyeing them off just unsure if I could top soul in them. I know Takeshi rocks them on vert with 68mm and I’ve been buzzing to try them myself

@@DanRoworth I have been looking at them! I love big wheels in the park. I have been skating my 4x80s a lot in the park and think the 72s would be an interesting mix of bigwheel/aggressive bowl/vert boot. I do skate the Oysi full stack with 72s on the outsides so the 72 AEON frame has to be the same height or smaller. Just wonder if it would give me more speed like the 4x080s.

to the next progress you definitely can!!! I feel like I’d be better of directing you to Acosta blades or Thirty and rollin. They’ve both done great tutorial videos that helped me a lot.
