Hello, I have so many things to say. I recently found your channel, and after watching one or two of the latest (Feb/March 2023) videos, I had to go back to the beginning for a catch up. It has brought a ray of sunshine to my day watching and listening to you and your various guests. Thank you, sincerely thank you for sharing your life, your family, your crafts, and your birding. Oh, I mustn't forget the poems. They are everything -- Funny, charming, heartwarming -- you're very lucky to have such creative friends, you can tell that they love you and Pete. I'm going to end here with a memory of the first time I saw a Puffin. My husband Dan and I live in New England, (near Boston) and ever since I was young and first learned of them I wanted to see a Puffin. Once we traveled to Ireland and I thought I might see them near the Cliffs of Mohr, but no luck. We have a group call Mass Audubon (Mass for Massachusetts) and they were running a trip up to Maine to see the Puffins. I signed us up and along we trekked with 12 or so birders (I was a novice, some were very experienced) in a van for a long weekend away from home. It was wonderful. We walked in forests, and blueberry bogs and saw lots of birds. The day of our Puffin experience we boarded a boat and headed out to an island that is co-owned by the US and Canada. There is a Puffin sanctuary on Machias Seal Island our group was the only one on the Island, we were there for 1-2 hours. There were bird blinds that we stayed in and the Puffins and Terns were all around us. We could hear them running atop the bird blind when they were landing or taking off. They had their beaks full of small fish all stacked up that they were taking to their young that are actually underground. You could only walk on the raised boardwalks so you couldn't step on a nest by accident. There were thousands of Puffins, they are so funny to watch coming in for a landing, and walking about. It was a magical trip, and started a love of birding for us. Maybe someday I'll get to visit the island of Scilly, it sounds wonderful. I hope you keep on with your chinwag. It's really lovely.

Thank you Jan for that lovely message, it made my day. I sent it to Heather who writes the poems and it made her day too. I loved your memory of your first sight of a Puffin. Isn't birding just so exciting, even if its a bird you have seen loads of times before, it's a different bird so every one is a winner! Hearing the Puffins and being amongst them is a memory never forgotten. Thanks again, and I look forward to hearing more memories from you. xx

Another wonderful chinwag. As for the outtakes, you should really keep them in as they are really funny. I just love watching your face when Pete goes off on a tangent! Plus him coming in to discuss lunch, just classic! 😂😂😂

Well, this week I'm going to keep them in. As you say my face when I know where his thoughts are going to take him. You're getting the picture that veg is important in this house!

Hello Penny I've watched the last 2 of your chinwags now and have really enjoyed them. I like your features and finding the TA interesting and listening to your Mum and husband chat shows how quickly life has changed for most of our families. Of course I love the bag! I love that fabric so much I almost want to not use it but seeing your bag makes me want to start sewing. I have watched a few of Erica's videos and I like your style where the drawstring is enclosed rather than a seperate channel on the top which is how I do mine. Time for me to try something different I think. Have a good Christmas and I look forward to catching up on some more of your episodes. Anne xxx

Oh, thanks so much for that lovely message. I started TA in episode 12 so if you were interested it does build and link together. I kept stroking the fabric and really want to send for more - it's a special one and as you say the drawstring enclosed is great. It's just sitting on the sofa looking good!

I know I am behind on your episodes, but I do hope you will keep up with exercises. I slowed down my exercise and didn't get massages during covid and now I've been in physical therapy for the last few months. It is helping, but I did let myself get in a bad state.

Yup, we walk regularly and am doing my stretches. Hope you get some relief.
