Episode 27 - We Found A Leak After Looking For 2 Years

I have the same boat as you, a C34 MK2. By coincidence, I noticed the exact same leak in my boat 3 months ago. I did some research and apparently it is normal for that valve to spit a little while the engine runs. In my previous boat, a Hunter, that same valve also spit water. However in the Hunter, the top of that vented loop had a hose that directed any leaking water to the bilge instead of spitting all over itself. I may change mine this spring to the type that the Hunter had. As you noted in your video, access in that area is ridiculously limited - I've been mulling about enlarging that cabinet door. This will also allow me to make better use of the large unused area back there for additional storage.

Sprinkle talcum powder under the floorboards and look later for track marks. Follow track marks back. Vacuum talcum powder up afterwards
