Jeannie, the Living Christmas Tree is beautiful. I think it is the best one yet. Tommy is enjoying singing in it. There are two more performances today. I am hoping to stitch for another sweater component on Monday/Tuesday. Now that the stitch count is 400, it is taking more time. Dena

Dena...always good to see you. The year is really wrapping up isnt it? WIPGO is done...DING DING DING!!!! The Pins and Needles project will really turn out cute. I started a sampler from the Wishing Thorn before my knee replacement in October and today is the day I think I can finally get back to a bit of stitching. Oh happy day. Cocoa protects the castle for sure. Love it!!

Just love the soft colors you used in Pins & Needles - will make a beautiful addition to your stitching room when framed. Just adore all the patterns you are working on - am personally saving up to purchase the Kringle design you stitched a while back - yours was just so lovely and it is one I’d like to get and hopefully finish by next Christmas! Lori, I have been having so much fun stitching for the ugly sweaters. I am now on my final one for Level 2 but that will probably have to wait until Sunday or Monday as I am working to complete the corner of A Sampler for All Seasons. That will leave only the bottom half to stitch in 2024. Dena

Carolyn, I still have 16 WIPs to go and most of them are medium to large pieces, so I will still have plenty to stitch! I just finished the second corner of A Sampler for All Seasons, so I will have exactly half of that to stitch next year. Kathyn, I went to Chick-Fil-A last night after the Living Christmas Tree and had the grilled nuggets. They were quite tasty. Hadn't tried them before. Linda, when you turn it completely upside down, the crosses are identical. You can't turn it halfway, but you can turn it completely upside down. Dena

I love your snowman earrings and then I got to looking at the earrings you were wearing in the next clip after. They look like skates. The pin looks like a sewing machine with a Santa cap under the needle.... but I could be totally wrong! lol I'm currently stitching the N for Nutcracker in Prairie Schooler Christmas Alphabet. I'm cooking a pot of chicken and dumplings on this warm, cloudy Friday. A farmer down the road has a sign up advertising free, you pick turnip greens- just please close the gate when you leave. So I might have to go pick some greens today. I have some ham leftover in the freezer that would be perfect seasoning for them.... and greens seasoning with a little red pepper flakes.
