Because the Italians are the ones cooperated and or informed on him.. It's an outdated way of thinking, back in the early days they only dealt with their own kind ,because of perceived trust and loyalty that they thought that they had towards each other, but as history has shown that was a complete farce. Because they they started robbed, stole, double-crossed and killed 'their own' as well, so it's just an ignorant and outdated way of thinking .. And Joey was very astute in his response..💯💯💯
