I grew up here,I'm 59 yr old and didn't even know about this until just a couple years ago. I find it very exciting to learn the history that took place right here in our back yard.

I came here bc ive been researching my family history on Ancestry and i just recently found out that Captain Mathew Arbuncle is my 6th great grandfather on my Mothers mothers side! Its really cool to find out all this info on him! He was a reall cool man! So exciting!

I enjoyed the video I live in alderson, I remember going there when I was in school on a field trip learning bout the fort, and digging for artifacts
