Episode 3: Hester van Vliet on the making of an unforgettable tour

We had Hester as one of our guides the first week of August 2024 for Brugge to Amsterdam. She was excellent! Very thoughtful and accommodating to everyone's needs. She is right as far as preparations. It's not the riding that will be an issue, the e-bikes are easy to ride. It's the ability to stop and start quickly when the group encounters normal traffic in towns and cities. Get familiar with hopping on and off your bike, down shifting gears at small hills, etc.

I have been on 3 Bikeboat Tours....so far. Hester was by far my favorite guide. Very patient and with a great demeanor. Her Oboe performance was something I did not expect and she was fantastic. Tot Ziens

I love how all the tour leaders give every tour a personal touch to make the guest feel welcome and special. So lovely how Hester explained how she memorises all the guest names before they arrive, wow! It is evident that all the tour leaders are experts on what they do and everything is well planned and professional to make sure the guests have a great and fun-filled holiday. Good advice on preparation to also be able to cycle in some traffic. I like the HYBRID style cycling opportunity to either join the cycling group or split off and meet up later, especially for those cyclists who like slower or faster speed of cycling. I would love to do this holiday! It would be difficult to choose between the boutique ships or premiere ships.. What a dream!

I have done the Tulip tour. It was fantastic with great food, tour guides, scenery and ambience. A trip with Hester through Sweden and Denmark sounds wonderful.
