I'm thrilled to see such an excellent series, and personally, I'm gaining a lot of knowledge from it. Thank you so much for creating and sharing this video. In my view, China, being India's biggest neighbor, and with both countries coexisting, I don't see why there would be any long-standing conflict between them. It wouldn't be beneficial for either nation's people, and only the West and the US would benefit from such a situation. I strongly believe that the leaders of both China and India are wise enough not to engage in a damaging and unnecessary conflict. Overall, this video has given me a lot to think about, and I'm looking forward to learning more.

India didn't exist before 1947. Italy didn't exist before 1860. Turkey didn't exist before 1914 and so on. Concept of Countries was invented in Europe in the 16th century. Before the invention of the concept of countries, there were only empires and kingdoms. Turkey was created after the fall of the Ottomans empire. Dozens of countries were created based on nationalities after the fall of the Ottomans empire. Italy was created in 1860 by merging various small kingdoms of Italian nationality. Similarly, Germany was created in 1871 by merging various small kingdoms of German nationality. Similarly, all European countries were created based on nationalities. Now the question is what is nation and nationality? A nation is a society that shares a common language, culture, and history and has shared interests. For example English, German, Italian, Turkish, French, Russian, Dutch, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Punjabi, kashmiri, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Malyalam, Thai etc are nations and a country based on single nation or nationality is called a nation state. Most countries in Europe are based on single nationalities and are nation states or simply called nations. India was created out of the British Indian empire on the basis of two nations bogus theory. Two nations were assumed as Islam and hindusim. But in reality, Islam and Hinduism are not nations. A nation is a society that shares a common language, culture, and history and has shared interests. For example, English, French, Russian, Dutch, germans, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Punjabi, kashmiri, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Malyalam, Thai etc are nations. There are dozens of nations within India and Pakistan. And hence India and Pakistan are union of nations. Nations are Punjab Kashmir sindh Baluchistan gujarat Bengal Maharashtra tamilnadu etc. And in modern world countries are created on basis of nationality like the countries in Europe (England, France, Germany, Poland, Norway, Sweden, Croatia etc) or in Asia (Korea, Japan, China,Thailand, Philippines etc) and Bangladesh etc are countries based on nationalities. But India and Pakistan were not created based on nationalities but on two nation (Islam Hinduism) bogus theory. Hence, these countries are based on religions. Bangladesh was created on the basis of Bangla nationality in 1971. Punjab should be a free country based on punjabi nationality like Bangladesh. But hindu Punjabis and Muslims punjabi don't want to leave india and Pakistan, so we Punjabi Sikhs can't force them to follow us. Hindu Punjabis, who had deserted Punjabi language in 1951 and 1961 census by declaring Hindi as their mother tongue would never support a Punjabi nation state. They support a Indian state based on the Hindu religion. Similarly, Punjabi muslims of Pakistan dont support Punjabi nation state either. They support Pakistan state that is based on Islam religion. Similarly, Bengali Hindus don't support Bangla nation state Bangladesh and want to live in India which is based on Hinduism. So Punjabi muslims, Punjabi Hindus, and Bengali Hindus are free to stay in their respective countries based on religions. But similar to muslim Bengalis, who created Bangladesh (based on Bangla nation) without Indian bengali Hindus, Sikhs have the right to create Azad Punjab (a Punjabi nation state) without Punjabi Hindus and Punjabi Muslims. As simple as that. We Punjabi Sikhs have no problem living in a Punjabi Muslims or Punjabi Hindu majority Punjabi nation state. The Punjabi speaker population of Muslims is around 10 crore. Punjabi speaking population of Hindus is around 3 crore (Punjabi Hindus in Punjab, Himchal, Haryana, Jammu and Delhi). Punjabi speaker Sikh population is around 2 crore. Hence Sikhs would be minority if both Punjabi muslims and Hindus or either one of them come form a Punjabi nation state with us Sikhs. But their radicals minds prefer religion over their nationality and they love to give up their Punjabi nationality and adopt Hindi and Urdu nationality in order to create a state based on their respective religions. So when Sikhs alone form a Punjabi nation state, it would automatically be a Sikh majority Punjabi nation state called Khalistan. What's in the name? You can name it whatever you want. But in practice it would be Khalistan just like India is a Hindu rashtra in practice regardless of its official name or regardless of its constitution.......

From Pakistan.... With respect Sawhney Sahab, as far as I understand, deep battle concept was established by Soviets for their particular battlefield realities and needs. e.g. Large armies, stretched over hundreds of miles with deep logistical ops, which could be exploited by concentrated and overwhelming combined arms operations both at the front and behind it. This requires huge expanses of favorable terrain and mostly mobile warfare with air superiority. Presently, a land battle between India and China across high mountains with very limited border objectives from both sides - (the dispute between both nations is a shallow border instead of a national ideological struggle) - precludes the possibility of this old concept. Isn't The notion of this two-front, full scale war with China is actually a ploy by the Indian military-industrial complex to siphon money from Indian exchequer? Logically speaking, China would never indulge itself in a full scale land battle for the sake of shallow border gains (the areas in dispute contain no significant mineral / strategic resources), which it can otherwise achieve by other limited means over time......Your kind comments sir?
@bobbygaad2023 Жыл бұрын
Apropos my question above... Comparatively, the logistical equation for China in a war across high Himalayas due to the Tibetan Plateau is more complex than the one faced by the Indians. Terrain doesnt allow large maneuvering battles in the deep. But ironically the reach of IAF is limited against PLA's major CGs in the Tibetan region, even with SU30 / Brahmos combo (there is only a limited number of air launched brahmos units available necessitating very very selective use...)

@@amalchakrabarti2357 thanks for the addendum. your point actually confirms my assertion that India vs China conflict is actually more of a border conflict (requiring shallow strikes and rapid actions) than a greater struggle (requiring deep battles on any belligerents' part.) Deep battles can't be fought in this particular case because of limited objectives and extremely difficult terrain precluding large maneuvers. Ergo, the need for appropriate level of air superiority deeper inside the enemy air space - using whatever combo of aircraft / weapons - will be 'unwarranted'. Hence, even in the case of a full time military escalation between India and China, the objectives would be limited requiring force concentrations on certain border points and their support areas immediately behind those points. So my point about limited reach of IAF (or PLAAF) wasn't about a particular weapon combo but more about the objectives and the terrain....But anyways, I was hoping for a reply from the expert Sawhney Sahab.... Thanks for doing this part of the program, Dr. Sawhney. The future wars are network-centric, but listening to the top Indian military leadership sometimes does not reflect if they know the challenges they face on the Northern border. Modern wars are planned, executed and analyzed in the cloud, not on the LAC, man to man and machine to machine. Modern thought is the key to achieving these objectives. However, the current Indian top military leadership lacks the clarity of thought and the vision to change their training and war concepts from the 20th century to the present day. Unfortunately, the leadership in Delhi is more interested in boosting its image rather than putting efforts into understanding challenges on the Northern Border, LAC etc. The Indian MEA and NSA cannot analyze what they are dealing with; Foreign Minister's job is not to manage the crisis; his job is to comprehend the possible challenges and avoid those before they become a problem for the country; Mr. Jaishankar has failed India in managing LAC crisis. Mr. Doval's disastrous input in revoking 370 has led China to do what it did in Ladakh, exposing the shallowness of Indian military leadership, its preparedness and management of a crisis. A country needs to have the brain power and physical infrastructure to manufacture relevant chips, the brain power to design sensor suits, program these and design algorithms/software to collect data, analyze, plan, execute and get real-time feedback for further action in an electromagnetic domain. Unfortunately, although Mr. Modi's focus is how to deal with his image boosting at home and abroad, the current Indian political leadership lacks the vision, capacity and understanding of what they are dealing with and what they have put India on the US lap, creating an imaginary foe on the Northern border that will cost a couple of trillion dollars to deal with in the next twenty years. It's unfortunate. Indeed, the political elements are so political in Delhi that no leadership can create an environment of trust that is a prerequisite to the liberation of thought, a pre-cursor for innovation and scientific development that is required to develop technology for a cyber-space and cloud-based, network-centric technologies to operationalize a modern war strategy. And that is ware down the adversary's network and communication system before it can even think about launching the akinetic strike, a missile etc.

You've hit the nail on the head. The first shots will not be fired in air, land or sea but in space and cyberspace where our communication network will be taken out. We have nothing to protect our assets in space. China has a space station which will be used for military purposes. The last but not the least is economic warfare where China has a staggering 101 billion dollars trade surplus with India. Our companies are merely selling Chinese goods under their brand leading to such enormous trade deficit. In other words, we are paying for China's rise and dominance.
