Another quality vid from Yorkie. I can't wait for the tuning tutorial because right now the only tuning I do is fuel level. I found the old PC1 menu much easier to understand with the sliders rather than the way it is now with just the numbers changing.

Sliders are miss-leading, which is why we got rid of them. Yes you can see the range, but people use the slider to reference min and max settings, rather than the actual value. There will be tuning tutorial coming in the future though.

janrdoh I'm with you! Especially gear ratio settings..much easier to sort with visual rather than ratio numbers.

Exactly and in fact dare I say it but Gran Turismo 1 was the best for setting gear ratio's because it had that toque curve graph.

Have pit stops been fixed? Had to turn them off before as a lot of the tracks would give you a penalty for speeding in the pit lane when you were still on track... Mostly in the final corner before the pit lane entrance.

I wish there was an option to have the cars NOT ghosted on the pit lane. It shouldn't be mandatory that cars are ghosted if you really want to give an option for full realism .

Ok please explain to me: Why do you have to choose if you want to fix gearbox engine and suspension PRE-RACE??? Say you choose to tick those boxes. Off you go and you DONT have to fix anything during the race. When you box to fill up and change tyres pc2 also adds 5-600 seconds to fix the engine gearbox and suspension.... Result: you loose the race......

You use the ICM menu and change whatever you want to change on the spot.

I recently noticed in R3E that you had to turn off the engine and ignition before the pit stop started, as it is IRL with GTs and Endurance racing, is a feature like that implemented in Pcars 2? Just to be sure.

You as a driver don't no. Things remain running whilst the pit stop work is being done.

@@Yorkie065 Good to know, I noticed that during a GT3 pitstop and I wasn't sure how that would affect the Endurance racing for example. IRL I think that takes a lot of the danger out of the refueling stops, especially since the car only comes off the jacks once all work, and especially the refueling is done.

The issue i'm having is pitting under AI and not reaching the pit lane speed limit. Is this a bug, or id the only option to pit manually?

As demonstrated in the video, you need to slow down before the pit speed limit line and the AI takes over control. If you go barreling into the pit lane at full speed and rely on the AI to slow down for you, you will get a penalty as the AI does not take control of the car until you get to that limiter line, at which you will of course be 'speeding in the pit lane'.

Hi, I want to ask a question: I ran 2 20 lap race in Le Mans in a Formula X car. When I pitted, the crew refuled the car but did not change the tires. I requested a manual pit stop. Can you tell me what happened? Thanks.

You probably didn't have the correct tyre settings with the tyres to change set to recommended which will make your crew only change the tyres that are worn beyond a certain point (very heavily worn) or if the weather conditions have changed. If you ever want to change tyres, make sure that you distinguish which tyres you want to change (all 4, just fronts, just rears) and to which compound.

Max number of grid slots was chosen to keep performance at 60fps. More garages and cars would mean that struggle to maintain that framerate

Love the physics but the amount of bugs is a real let down! PS4 online is a joke! For a game so long in development, with so many "expert's" working on this and the amount of money thrown at it!!
