Another option would be a Factory Five 818. If your not familiar, it's a Subaru WRX powered, mid-engine, rear wheel drive kit car that weighs 1800-2000 lbs depending on how you build it. If you find a good deal on the donor car and do the build yourself, you can build the car for right around $15000 and make 400HP on a stock motor with a few upgrades and some tuning. If you can find the budget for forged internals and a bigger turbocharger you can make around 600HP - in a car that weighs less than 2000lbs.
@caseymurray7722 Жыл бұрын
Although the 818 is cool and I think a better track car, the DF goblin is by far a better bet for drag races. It's mid engine with an ecotech motor. With a turbo lsj you can make ~400 hp with stock internals. The kit is less and donors are also cheaper since it's based on a cobalt.

@@Stale_Mahoney true true forgot we were talking about a demon and not just a hellcat but also idk about Europe but in America we salt and sand the roads during the winter. The 1998-2002 Grand Prix GTP could definitely be a solid contender too. ZZP offers an endless list of high performance parts paired with the reliability of a 3800 you can't go wrong. Not only that but there was lots of unique variants for them. Factory boost Guage, heads up display and a sunroof are also a nice touch of life to these cars. My ex drove it parked it in the driveway and poof. A part busted and engine caught fire...almost got her front of the house. The second one I got for $2,500 bc we had NO CAR at that time. All of a sudden poof. Engine just...stopped. like locked up or something. Sold it for $800 to some guy who parts them out.
