I think it's important to speak about the fact that Christianity and African spirituality are two different worldviews and paradigms and so we must be careful not to equate. One can hold both worldviews and this is fine but one can hold either or and so we must be careful not to try equate the 2. The concept of god in Christianity is different from a concept of god in African spirituality. So this idea of serving 2 masters seems null and void if we do not equate the 2. Maybe a question of what is god in African spirituality would be a good topic to unpack.
