Hey Scott love your stuff! I actually made the art for the in game ships for the Ikkuro. You'll likely notice that the cruiser is a bit messed up looking. It's already been fixed and the update with it should be out soon.

@@scottsspace5562 Part of the planned free content coming up is graphical updates to existing ships. We also have plans to updates entire factions at some point. I think we'd be starting with the Teekan though.

It said 19 suitability for Humans, not for Ikkuro. You can check the suitability for your species in the colonies tab. If you select the planet, you only see the species living there.

Auto-build research -- if there are no research stations to be built, does the constructor sit idle? I tried my 1st game with Ikurro (easier settings), was boxed in by Boskara, Dhayat, and angry humans, no suitable planets or independents and 1 research location - we won 4/5 of of first wars, but just couldn't hold up in the end. More I learn related to this game the more fun it is -- thanks Scott!

I know the game quite well, but you can still teach me some things. Never switched construction ships to "research bases" only for example.

@@scottsspace5562 considering your infantry is pretty strong, is it possible to capture the pirate ships/bases? That sounds a really interesting way if you could capture and "hold them prisoners" even if that is only roleplay and not actually a mechanic

You may not be aware that you can move your own people off the human colony. Their suitability is 40, where your race is 5. You're right that you don't want your people multiplying on that planet since they will be a draw on resources. Set the population policies to move your race off the planet and then research and build some passenger ships. :)

I will be changing migration settings to tell them to go. Manually I can pull of population off w a colony ship in general but not by species unless I’m missing something.
