I've already listened to this over at patreon but I just wanted to comment here to boost it in the algorithm. The voice actress who plays Polly is fantastic! I really can't wait to hear more of what she brings to the table 😊

It’s always a good day when I see you in my notifications. You’re the only one I stop everything for, and just sit down and listen. I have never been disappointed.🐝🤗❤️

I know exactly what's in those ancient mountains....I was born & raised at the foothills of the Appalachian mtns, as was my Great great grandparents. I left decades ago & now when I go back I feel it pulling me like vines around my limbs & neck, trying to choke me. I can't breathe. All the while, the hairs on the back of your neck crawl. There's places in those mountains that you will disappear & know one will ever lay eyes on you again. Not even government men will go there. If the woods go silent, leave. If someone calls you by name, turn & leave. If you hear whistling leave & get out & never look back. They will mess with your mind & make you complacent & lethargic & have you going in circles just a few steps from help, until you just stay in the woods & die. Beware. Go at your own risk.

Is any of that stuff real? I know this is gonna sound foolish, but I kind of want to go and see if I can meet feral people. I heard there were some down there... Suggestions?

Isn't it appropriate that these dark dealings crack the foundation of the Barrow home

As we've explained before, we are an audio podcast. We average about 600,000 downloads a month on services like Apple Podcasts and Spotify. We are not a KZbin channel. We only keep a KZbin channel for the occasional live stream or to make sure no one has snagged our name or branding on here. This just simply isn't our main platform.

Why don't they make this a movie 🤔
@OldGodsofAppalachia2 жыл бұрын
The short answer is, we don’t have millions of dollars lying around to make a movie, and no one has approached us about making one that we felt comfortable working with or thought was serious. Making movies, tv shows, etc. is a complicated process, and so many adaptations are bad. We’re not going to let just anyone play in our sandbox.
