Yo mag g am just asking you as a source 🐱 if vigro deep goes to Kenya or whatever. Does that mean everyone in Kenya just abounds their music and start listening to vigro deep. Like are they listening to Amapiano in that country or is just few south Africans group together. Coz I don't get it? Who is going to listen to my Amapiano abroad? Like is Sho majozi really famous and recognised as a celebrity in USA or is it still just few south Africans who are There and booking her cos they missing home or something.? Just asking ❤️

JJ kept emphasising that MacG must spread his wings of knowledge. This podcast is very powerful and can inspire the youth to grow and be knowledgeable not only on those things that people are uncomfortable with(e.g, naturalistic, adult content) . Politics is very important and most of the youth this podcast attracts are interested in politics although they don't trust politicians anymore to such an extent that they may not be party aligned. Everything we touch is politics (inflation, Tax, Petrol Price, would like to start a company, would like to have a podcast)

So true, it's so careless for the youth to say they don't care about politics. Cos at the end of the day what politicians are doing, like bad decisions that they take are finally affecting the youth. As JJ is saying, students are always toy-toying for fees must fall. Things like unemployment, load shedding, service delivery are also affecting the youth. . Even if you open your business, you have to pay tax. So if you are not involved, they will finally come for everything you have built by yourself. Youth must not be sleepist cos these old grand-pa's and grand ma's will make laws to oppress the youth. You make money from your gig, then after SARS come for you, claiming you owe them millions. So Prof is very right, citizens must stay awake in order to challenge certain things or decisions. Especially the youth.

We also need to understand and know the current affairs of our country and how they can affect next generation. Sol, MacG and the rest of the crew have kids that will be affected by what's happening in government and they wil not know how to protect and guide their kids if they have no knowledge. I do agree that he did his homework, however I disagree with the line of questioning. This could have been the greatest interview if he had... 1: Formulated those questions into a conversation, you saw he was literally reading them off the computer. 2: Avoid being impatient and when one is talking about topic(s) he's uninterested in. At 17:28 is a case in point. 3: Sol is well informed, give him more space to interact with the conversation FREELY and not only when he's asked "what do you think Sol" I hope the advice above and also advise from the Prof will come on handy next time.

I have been searching for something like "The daily show with Trevor" but a South African version or something similar of some sorts that talks about issues affecting South Africa on a daily basis, from mainly political issues to all other socio-economic issues in a more formal setting but still with a high level of impartiality, and I think "Power to Truth with JJ" comes close to it... I'll definitely be tuning in from now on... So interested to see where the show goes and how much more it uncovers.
