Do you know that Mayor Cilliers Brink was collaborating with the National Department of Water and Sanitation regarding the water quality crisis in Hammanskraal?? For the first time in nearly twenty years, there is now, thanks to this Mayor, a credible and workable plan to have clean drinking water flowing out of the taps of Hammanskraal by as early as October this year!! ( Phase 1 is almost complete) This was unimaginable only a year ago!!

actually some were, where I live in Mabopane we used to feel like we were in a suburb... that's how much we loved our township. But then DA came and we saw the deterioration of our kasi. They stopped collecting bins, potholes became the norm, streetlights kept on dying and reporting them lead to nowhere. Water became scares and they don't send water trucks, they removed public WiFi which helped students and the unemployed, they haven't painted roads even highways. We have potholes in our highways also in the CDB. Blame ANC all you want but all this happened after 2016 when DA came in. Don't love the DA too much that you sideline their wrongs, no one is sabotaging DA... so you mean all townships where DA is in power they sabotage them?!.

@@ProcaviaCapensis-ts8ub even the white areas got bad under DA, we used to have a walkable COT, even the white areas, when DA took over i remember clearly, the first tenders that got released was to fence some of the white areas, am a runner, or rather was back then,and it was always a pleasure to observe the beauty of Tshwane while jogging through all areas, but all of a sudden some of the areas that were accessible to all and was safe,had massive eyesore fences that created this sense of unsafeness to the areas, look at even places like Hatfield, it went from a vibrant place to an all business unsafe areas that took away the culture that existed there before

the mistake DA did when they ran tshwane was destroy all the good ANC had, they should have analysed everything and only dropped the bad,but sadly when they came in i recall clearly cause i was working with COT then,they dropped everything and started from scratch, not only that but even the good things that worked they didn't reinstate, to date, you can blame people all you want but there is a clear distinction when ANC was there and when DA took over and most of it is bad,results speak for themselves, we can say many words and blame many people but results cant be fabricated. Even some of the areas where white people stayed became like prisons where only residents were allowed, COT had big visions and a lot of work went into fulfilling that vision before DA took over, none of those visions exist now and even some of the works that happened before got destroyed after,i speak as a resident of Tshwane since 2003,ANC had many flaws, but there was also a lot they did right, DA came with bulldozers and destroyed everything ANC did with the promise of starting afresh but we never saw that "AFRESH"
