Used Brancel too. Bringing back memories of the heat. Packed like sardines under the trees. Day 4 and 5 even worse...Ugh Oh and then there's the tornado scare. Still a great time :)

on the bagged area. I can see my little blue Ikea bag...hilarious...thanks for the video, now I can show my friends. That day was just miserable and I almost got up early to beat the heat but after consideration, it just did not make any sense because if you got to Des Moines early and set up the tent in that heat, I was going to burn to a crisp. So, I made it in about 4 p..m after stoping in a. bar down town and getting some liquids in me as I was having stomach cramps and later found a tree and some shade and got some rest , got my blue Ikea bag ( thanks again for the video at 14.14 ) set up my tent, got a shower and went to the concert. You guys are great. I rode across country in 2020 and I do not know if you leave in Madison WI but would have been nice to have met you both and bought you a couple of Wisconsonites . Question. What charter service were you using? I keep seeing a bunch of blue and white Eureka tents, and with as early of starts you were doing, you must have been using a charter that let's you drop your baggage early in the morning

Actually what I wanted to know is how you get packed and on the road so early. The Ragbrai trucks didn't start loading bags until 5Am.@@danielapeterson

We had a private charter. We didn't use the RAGBRAI trucks. @@ericyoshimitsu7817
